What is the PSLE? — Singapore Primary School Leaving Examination
Definition
The Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) is the national examination taken by Singapore primary school students at the end of Primary 6. It is administered by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and serves as the checkpoint between primary and secondary school (Source: MOE PSLE).
When students sit it

Subjects tested
The PSLE tests four subjects:
- English Language
- Mother Tongue — Chinese, Malay, or Tamil (Higher Mother Tongue available)
